Reflecting Patience at Port de Grave | Original Acrylic Painting

CA$150.00
Only 1 available

This painting was created en plein air or on location at Port de Grave.

this painting was completed at the most local harbour to the artist residency, Port de Grave. This harbour was full of fishing vessels, in all colours and sizes. I spent many, many hours painting the boats and marveling at the reflections in the water. And dodging the seagulls that wanted to call the pier home. This fishing boat instantly caught my attention, with the name ‘Ocean Champion’. I had fun slightly altering the colours of the fishing boat to better contrast the scene.

This acrylic painting was created on handcrafted paper, using saltwater from the Atlantic Ocean to mix the colours. The painting measures approximately 5x7 inches and features deckled edges.
