Providing Refuge at Frenchs Cove | Original Acrylic Painting

CA$150.00
Only 1 available

This painting was created en plein air or on location at Frenchs Cove.

With a backpack full of paint and handcrafted paper, I set out to hike to Frenchs Cove. This little cove created the most picturesque scene with the small red house and fishing hut. The weather was windy and wet, with rain falling most of the time I painted. This created a steel grey sky and water full of white capped waves. The greens of the coastline were strikingly offset against these cool colours.

This acrylic painting was created on handcrafted paper, using saltwater from the Atlantic Ocean to mix the colours. The painting measures approximately 5x7 inches and features deckled edges.
