Catching Courage at Back Harbour | Original Acrylic Painting

CA$150.00
Only 1 available

This painting was created en plein air or on location at Back Harbour.

This painting was completed in the gentle sunshine at Back Harbour near Twillingate. I rounded the corner and saw the most mesmerizing view - an island connected to the land with a thin sandbar. I set up to paint on a roadside pullout beside construction equipment, a funny view to the locals I’m sure! The sea was a eye-catching smoky blue against the wispy clouds.

This acrylic painting was created on handcrafted paper, using saltwater from the Atlantic Ocean to mix the colours. The painting measures approximately 5x7 inches and features deckled edges.
